It’s super convenient that you don’t need an appointment to drop off items, and sometimes they’re able to go through your things in a few minutes for you. I’ve picked up a few items with my generous store credit and also received cash for my consignments. She has a good eye and does not accept items with holes or anything that looks like it has too much wear and tear. Her assessment of the items in her stores is fair. She’s always very nice, and goes through almost all of the consignment drop-offs herself. The owner constantly has a presence in all of her stores, and it is easy to see that she takes her business very seriously. ![]() Specifically, stores have «lost» expensive merchandise, and refused to compensate or even apologize for their mistakes. Oh, and their handbag selection is AWESOME! I have had really crappy experiences consigning in other Boston area stores. You’re not going to find things from the Gap or most other mall brands here… except for the good ones like Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, and J.Crew. There’s even lots of great designer vintage finds. This is a designer consignment store loaded with my favorites: Tory Burch, Lily Pulitzer, Diane von Furstenberg, Prada, Ralph Lauren, and Burberry. I’ve been able to sell some of my designer digs that I wouldn’t wear again and have always had a positive experience. I’ve been consigning at Revolve since they first opened in Waverly Square, but this is my favorite location to both shop and sell. I am looking forward to going to the Winchester location since it’s closer to me. If I lived in Belmont, I’d be in here once a week. ![]() They also sell shoes, jewelry, and scarves. In fact, I think there’s a not single item in the store that’s that wouldn’t be a «find» for someone. It was nice to see that this rack still offered quality items. The clothes on that rack were equally impressive, mostly jeans and a few pretty blouses that might be out of style by next summer but would be great to wear right now. I bought a lovely sweater for $ 10 on the discounted «Charity rack», from which a portion of each sale is donated. Also, Revolve does not have that musty smell that many consignment stores have. The clothing selection was fabulous and organized by color and size and very reasonably priced. Whereas I had just experienced merely OK food and poor service, at Revolve we discovered excellent merchandise and equally excellent service, which made the hour or so we were in Belmont much more pleasant.
